Secondary in abundance are aromatic sester and sesquiterpenoid hydrocarbons,but aromatic diterpenoids, most of the regular PAH are found at trace levels only.
The results showed that the main compound categories of aromatic components were alcohols, esters, terpenes and ketones for all half-highbush blueberry cultivars.
Five triterpenoids were isolated and their structures were identified to be cauloside C (1),akebiasaponin D (2),akebiasaponin F (3),ursolic acid (4) and hederagenin (5).
